Hello, I’m Brooke. I live in the southeast United States, but I have a neutral American accent. I have a Level 5 TEFL certification and have trained to teach General English and Business English. I have almost ten (10) years of experience working in an office setting. During this time, I developed the skills necessary to write professional emails and letters, communicate efficiently using the telephone, participate in meetings, and give presentations. I have a passion for languages, and I would like to share this with students from all around the world. I have been studying French on italki for over a year, so I have first-hand experience with the challenges of language learning.我的教學經歷
Through teaching myself French, I have developed techniques and strategies that I know can help any language learner. I believe that confidence is essential, and it is necessary to build confidence in a comfortable, safe environment without the fear of mistakes. My lessons are student-focused, and I am a tool to expand your English knowledge. I have learned that it is easier to have a native-speaking language teacher guide you on your language journey. I will help you develop your English pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and oral spontaneity in a fun, lively environment.我的課程內容與教學風格
My classes are personalized based on each student’s individual needs and interests. I prefer to use authentic materials such as articles, videos, and online content. Homework is always optional, but I will be happy to give you assignments that further your English development. These assignments can be writing an essay about a topic of your choice, simple grammar exercises, or watching a film and discussing it in class. I am here to support you, encourage you, and find the best techniques that suit you. I believe in providing a comfortable environment where mistakes are celebrated learning experiences and highly encouraged.我的教材
