My name is Tamaki.
I grew up in Hiroshima, Japan.
My hobbies are reading books, watching films, listening to music and cooking.
I also love traveling abroad. It is very interesting to learn about the culture of a country and meet its people.
I have been to many countries in the Americas, Europe and Asia.
What is your hobbies?

私は、日本語教師の正式な資格を持っています。そして、日本語を教え続けて 6年になります。
今まで、レベルは初級から上級、年齢は８歳から７０歳までの多くの生徒さんに日常会話や試験のための勉強やビジネスの日本語を教えてきました。
これまで多くの生徒さんをJLPTなどの試験合格や目的達成へと導いています。
ありがたいことに、私の生徒さんの大部分は、私とのレッスンを長く継続されています。
生徒さんに信頼されて友好的な関係が築けているのは、とても幸せなことです。

I am a fully qualified Japanese teacher. And I have been teaching Japanese for six years.
I have taught daily conversation, study for exams and business Japanese to many students of all levels, from beginner to advanced, and ages from 8 to 70.
Many students passed their exams and achieved their goals.
Thankfully, the majority of my students continue their lessons with me for a long time.

In my lessons, I will try to use Japanese as much as possible to help you improve your Japanese.
If you don’t understand the content of the lesson sometimes , I will support you in English.
The content of the lessons will be based on your request.
For example, we can flexibly study conversation lessons, lessons using textbooks, writing practices, preparing for exams, business Japanese, etc.

volunteer staffI usually taught Japanese to various types of people (international student, business person, person whose partner is Japanese) from all over the world. I learned many important things such as culture differences, things you should and things you should not say, etc...) I realized there are as many teaching methods as there are students. Therefore, most important things I learned is to respect them. Through this experience, I will work even harder and keep getting better.

Today we worked in present and past positive/negative forms of verbs! (Ex: はなす becomes はなします/はなしません for the positive present/past and はなしました/はなしませんでした for the negative present/past). We also worked on creating sentences based on pictures of past events and making up sentences given certain verbs. Lastly, we did general conversation practice by discussing the last few days. It was a lot of fun, like always 🥳

今日は会話練習とN3の聴解をしました。少し難しかったですが、たまき先生が分かりやすく教えてくれたので、理解できました！日本語を話すのが今日はあまりうまくできなかったけど、たまき先生が励ましてくれて嬉しかったです。ありがとうございました！

Today we practice conversation by discussing the last two weeks. Afterwards, we reviewed the topics from last week. Finally, we focused on present and past positive and negative statements! As always, it was a lot of fun! I am looking forward to even more sessions 🥳
