Language has always been more than communication to me. It's how we locate ourselves in the world — how we signal who we are, where we've been, and who we're becoming.
I'm LJ, the founder of The Fluent Framework — a methodology built on the belief that real fluency isn't memorized. It's inhabited. It grows from identity, culture, and the slow, intentional work of becoming someone who doesn't just speak a language but lives inside it.
My work sits at the intersection of language, culture, and human storytelling. And every student I work with brings a unique arc — a journey that deserves more than drills and repetition.

My sessions aren't lessons in the traditional sense. They're consultations — guided conversations with direction, intention, and something to show for them afterward.
Before we meet, I think about you. Your goals, your patterns, the gap between where you are and where you want to be. When we sit down together, we don't fill time. We work through something real.
Every student I work with has a living file — a record of their journey that grows with every session. You're not starting over each time we meet. You're building something.

I don't offer typical lessons. Every session we have together has a clear focus, a direction, and something concrete you take away afterward. You'll never leave feeling like you just talked for an hour.
When you book with me, you become part of a real program. I keep a file on every student — tracking your progress, your patterns, and your goals — so each session builds on the last instead of starting from scratch.

Private Adult ESL TutorFor four years, I worked as a private ESL tutor for adults who were moving from other countries to the United States for education and secular work opportunities. Many of these ones had a basic level of English, so to assist them with the transition to a new country, they were assigned to work with a tutor to improve their skills in basic communication and pronunciation.
