With over six years of dedicated experience as a certified TEFL educator, I have specialized in teaching English to young Arab learners in kindergarten settings. From 2013 to 2019, I honed my skills in the UAE's dynamic educational environment, developing culturally responsive curricula that engage children through interactive methodologies such as music, storytelling, and play-based learning. Currently, I serve as a full-time online English instructor, maintaining my passion for facilitating language acquisition and personal growth in students. 5 years ago, my daughter started having lessons with teacher Ayesha. She was 6 years old, and she only knew basic words and very simple sentences. Today it’s amazing to see her enjoying films in English without subtitles. It still blows my mind when I see her laughing at English-speaking YouTubers’ shorts even at their usual “2x speed”. And recently she has started drawing comic books with dialogues in English!
And the entire learning process went so smoothly, in such a fun, natural way.
It’s hard to put into words how grateful I am. In my country, it’s not common to be fluent in foreign languages. It’s wonderful to see my daughter realizing she’s capable of learning a second language and enjoying the benefits of this tool. It brings her freedom, knowledge, confidence, and self-esteem in such a way that I believe it will positively shape her relationship with studies in general.
