Hi, hello! You can call me Damei. I'm a born and bred Beijinger who speaks very standard Mandarin. It's been over ten years since I started teaching Chinese part-time in college. My students come from many countries, including the US, South Korea, and Japan. If you want to learn Chinese in a relaxed manner, then I'm the teacher for you. :)

我的教學經歷

I'm a part-time teacher with over ten years experience. My teaching method is mainly conversational immersion; everything will be in Chinese. I create study plans that match a student's language levels, abilities, and learning style to ensure a comfortable learning environment, which will enable quick and efficient language acquisition. During our Chinese language lessons, I also hope to help students gain a deeper understanding and love of Chinese culture.

I have a fairly flexible schedule, so students can choose the most convenient time. My teaching style: strictly Chinese immersion, simple, easy to understand, and fun.

Today's first lesson with damei was excellent. Damei spoke very clearly, at a pace I was very comfortable with. We used most only Chinese. DaMei is interest and different from my other Chinese teachers. No doubt, DaMei brings something very special.

Great lesson today. I'm probably HSK 2.5 in reading and HSK -1 in speaking and listening, so I asked her to focus on listening and speaking. She crafted a great lesson, and I learned a ton! 谢谢大美老师啊！
