My name is Yasmin and I am a TEFL certified teacher. I am originally from England, however I now live in Canada. I have lived in a few other countries, such as Australia and New Zealand and travelled to over 35 countries in the world. Travelling is my biggest passion, I love meeting people from around the world, learning about new cultures, and trying all the food! I enjoy helping people learn English, it is rewarding for me, as much as it is for you. I had the opportunity to learn Spanish in Guatemala, I loved the whole experience, especially because I had a great teacher. Aside from travelling and teaching, I love playing tennis, listening to music and hiking.我的教學經歷
I am a certified TEFL teacher and I customise each lesson for individual students. It is important to me that each lesson is interesting and inspires you to want to learn more. I have worked in a classroom, but teaching online offers a different dynamic, which is why I decided to teach with Italki. I believe English is an important language to know in life, as the most widely spoken language in the world, it not only helps communicating on a personal level, but also with business. I strive to make my lessons fun, interesting and of course interactive. I tailor each lesson to my students individual needs. I teach mostly beginner and intermediate English. I like to teach using various methods, such as conversation, reading or listening material. Having worked in a language school, I like using activities from textbooks and follow a syllabus to make sure the student is learning all the crucial parts of the English language. If there is anything the student wants to specialise or focus on, then of course I am happy to do that. I want to help you reach your personal goals!5.0

Today I did a very interesting lesson with Yasmin. We discussed about my new job and in the second part of the lesson we simulated the speaking test to prepare for my English exam. It was inspiring, thank you so much!

Today we talked about different topic: From the wedding to the European Keystones Competences. Yasmin is very professional and nice teacher. She alway correct me when I wronged some words and I think this method is very useful for me. Thank you so much 😊
