Hello my name is Emily. I come from the Washington D.C. area in the US. I graduated from the University of Maryland with degrees in Economics and Finance and a minor in Accounting. I have been a financial analyst in D.C. for many years and at the same time I was a court appointed child advocate and a volunteer of Martha's Table in D.C. a homeless kitchen for children and adults in the community. In 2002 I moved back to my birth country of Greece where I taught English as well as running an organization to neuter and care for the street animals. I reside in Turkey now, where I continue my volunteering with the protection of street animals along with teaching English privately.我的教學經歷
I taught ESL to immigrants in the Washington DC Metropolitan area. In Athens Greece I taught at a language school along with giving private lessons. In Turkey I continue my English lessons privately with children and adults. 我的課程內容與教學風格
I believe in adapting my lessons to each individuals needs. There is no one plan that fits everyone. Some people may be interested in furthering their conversation skills, some might need help in the business sector with a presentation or their CV. Children might just be starting out, adults may want to read a book together and I tailor my lessons to each student. I believe everyone can learn if we give the encouragement and positive reinforcement they need.4.9
