Hello there, My name is Taho. I was born and raised in Japan. I worked as a medical technologist in a hospital for several years. I have lived outside of Japan for many years in various countries, including the Philippines, New Zealand, Malaysia, and Taiwan.

Since I have studied English myself, I know how you feel and the problems when studying a second language.
I will adjust my teaching methods to help you feel more comfortable and relaxed while studying.

At regular intervals, we will review your progress and place stepping stones that will lead you to achieve your language goals.
定期的にレッスン内容を振り返り、学習状況を一緒に復習しましょう。学習者の方がご自身のゴールに一歩ずつ確実に近づくよう、授業が的確なステッピングストーンとなるようデザインします。
During my time teaching, I have learnt that it is important to involve you in our lessons, talking about your self & your life while using your new grammar and vocabulary. You need to feel relaxed and to have fun, while I need to be patient and explain everything clearly.
学習者の方が実践に役立つと実感していただける授業スタイルになるよう心掛けます。新しい文法・単語を学ぶ際、ご自身に生活の中でその文法・単語を使ってどんな話ができるか共に場面を設定し、実際に使っていただきます。話の途中で訂正したりはしませんので、安心して新しい文法・単語を使うことに挑戦してください。納得していていただけるようていねいにわかりやすく説明するよう心がけます。我的教材

I've found a hidden treasure with Taho Sensei.
When I first started on italki, I saw people with more than 100 lessons with him. Now, as I approach 100 lessons with him myself, I'm sure of why.
I confident he not only does this because he has the skills, but because he truly enjoys helping people learn.
If you feel that you are terrified to speak or worried about looking like a fool (like I was), Taho will quickly make you forget that you ever felt that way!

I have been taking lessons with Tahoさん for a long time now and really appreciate his style of teaching. He is extremely professional and patient no matter how much trouble you are having. I never got the feeling that I was doing something wrong or that I was bothering Tahoさん with my mistakes or questions. The most important thing I look for when finding a perfect teacher is not feeling anxious before the class starts, and I never felt that anxiety when I was about to attend Tahoさん 's classes. He teaches with empathy, encouragement and a LOT of patience. You can tell that Tahoさん really wants to help you learn and he is genuinely trying to help.

Mr. Taho is an excellent teacher. He uses a very insightful way that helps to learn hiragana in two classes. He also explained things in detail and full of passion to provide learning suggestions. I am glad to have such a nice japanese teacher.

Tahoさん's classes have become a weekly staple to me and I always look forward to his classes every week! Tahoさん has helped me reach heights I never thought would be possible in my Japanese learning journey; I honestly never thought I would be at the level I am now and I definetely couldn't have done it without Tahoさん's help.
He is a teacher that really cares for the quality of his classes and is very patient with our mistakes.
