Ahoj!
Jmenuji se Michal a učím zde češtinu od roku 2020. Narodil jsem se v Praze a dnes žiju v severní Kalifornii. Učím přirozenou, každodenní češtinu — takovou, jakou uslyšíš v ulicích Prahy.
Miluju jazyky, technologie, čtení, hry a samozřejmě své tři kočky. Rád si pustím film nebo seriál — třeba Breaking Bad, South Park, Attack on Titan nebo Cowboy Bebop.
Taky nahrávám podcast Čeština s Michalem, který najdeš na Spotify, iTunes atd.
Budu se moc těšit na naše první setkání. Pojďme si spolu popovídat česky!
I was born in Prague and now live in California. I teach natural, everyday Czech. I also host the podcast Čeština s Michalem. Let’s have a fun and relaxed conversation in Czech!我的教學經歷
I’m a native Czech speaker from Prague with a passion for language learning and teaching. Since 2020, I’ve been helping students speak Czech more confidently and naturally.
I’m patient, encouraging, and always aim to create a relaxed space where you can make mistakes, ask questions, and enjoy the learning process.
I know what it’s like to learn a foreign language, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.
I’m based on the West Coast of the U.S., so I’m in a great time zone for students in North America.我的課程內容與教學風格
My lessons are casual and focused on real conversation. We’ll also use short readings with free online materials from time to time.
I work with pre-intermediate to advanced students who want to boost fluency, build vocabulary, and sound more natural. I give gentle feedback at the end of each lesson to keep the conversation flowing.
The bottom line is — if you want to speak a foreign language, you need to speak it a lot, right? So let’s get to it! I look forward to hearing from you.

I started listening to Michal's podcast a couple years ago when I was taking a Czech literature course and a few years later I finally decided to book a lesson. I've had several great conversation partners for practicing Czech, but my meetings with Michal have really been a qualitative change. Finding someone who truly listens and is patient while the other person thinks is not as easy as it sounds, so it has been great to find that in Michal. Plus he has plenty of experience teaching Czech and learning other languages himself, so you are really in good hands with him as a tutor.

Děkuju Michale za ještě jednou skvělou konverzaci!
Mluvit s někým, a skoro vůbec netušit, že to proběhá v cizím jazyce je opravdu skvělé, a ty rozhodné máš talent na to tu konverzaci nastavit tak, aby to bylo maximálně přirozeně :-)
Je to neocenitelně!
