I was born and bred in Lisbon but I moved to the UK in 2008. I have recently moved to Chester in England after living for 13 years in Scotland where I taught Portuguese and ESOL at a language school in Glasgow. I am passionate about learning languages but also teaching them. *** I only teach adults ** I will wait 15 minutes after the lesson time for the student to show up, after that the lesson will be confirmed as complete**

Since I have learnt languages myself I know how it feels to be a student. Therefore I am a patient and enthusiastic teacher who enjoys motivating and inspiring students to learn a language. In my lessons I tend to use a range of authentic materials from audios to grammar and vocabulary. I am also aware that Portuguese people tend to use a variety of idioms and expressions in their daily lives, for that reason a big part of my lessons incorporate conversational Portuguese.
Nas minhas lições eu uso diversos materiais, desde gravações a jogos de gramática e vocabulário. Os Portugueses usam muitas expressões e ditos populares. Por essa razão, uma grande parte das minhas lições incluem conversação.我的教材

Tenho tido aulas com a Claudia por vários anos e tenho certeza que não há uma professora melhor no italki! Ajuda-me com exercícios gramaticais, a leitura é a conversação e sempre tem bons recursos para compartilhar comigo, tipo artigos, podcasts, etc. Neste ponto da minha aprendizagem conversamos e ela corrige-me a gramática e ajuda- me encontrar as palavras que não conheço (ou que esqueci!).
A conversação com a Cláudia é sempre muito, muito interessante porque ela tem tanto conhecimento de e interesse em uma variedade ampla de assuntos.
