I absolutely loved my class with Desiree. The hour flew by. I really like her style of not correcting every mistake as they happen but instead taking notes for you as you are speaking. It helped keep the conversation going and she sent the document with the corrections as a follow up! Desiree is very friendly and super easy to talk to. Highly recommend booking a session with her.

Diseree incites and encourages me to talk, gently correcting if needed, without loosing thread of talking, and if I stop and ask for explanation she will do in a clear way. She talks clearly and not too fast as in normal conversations with her friends ( I know!) , so the conversation is fluid and time passes very quick! I look forward to my conversation lessons. At the end I check the list of words and mistakes and study that.

Okay Desiree! 10/10! I’ve had a few lessons where I came prepared, books, notebooks, flash cards, coffee and didn’t finish the lesson with confidence. Where as with Desiree, I accidentally just woke up and had nothing prepared but she taught me so much and it really stuck. She is so patient with you and had a lot of resources I could use that I didn’t think to use.

I highly recommend Desiree! I've had two lessons with her and the time flew by. She is very patient and friendly and makes me feel comfortable even though I make tons of mistakes. Other reviews led me to choose her and they were exactly right! I feel that this is the missing piece to my Italian language learning journey- a low stress environment to practice and get help so I can become more confident in daily life here in Italy.

Desire is an excellent teacher. I had a few months break in my studying and was a bit nervous about the first class, but it was great and I was able to speak surprisigly well with Desire’s support. Grazie mille!
