If you want to increase your English vocabulary and fluency and you already know a little bit of English, I can help you!
I will help you to feel very comfortable and we will have a relaxed and fun lesson where you can increase your English skills and become more confident to speak better English.
I am a patient and friendly person and love meeting people from all over the world. I am looking forward to helping you with your goals to speak better English.
My home is in South Africa but I have also lived, studied and worked in Canada, The USA, Australia and England.

I am a TEFL/TESOL qualified native English speaker from South Africa and I have taught English Second-language students in many different countries like Poland, China, Italy, France, Korea, Germany and others. I have also taught in my own country.
If you know some English and want to improve or maintain your level, please send me a message to tell me what you need help with. Then book a trial lesson so that we can work together and see if we are a good match.
I like to keep things simple and teach one thing at a time until the student is very certain and confident, then teach something new. That way, we build upon knowledge, confidence and certainty; and the student will not get confused. 我的課程內容與教學風格
My lessons are relaxed and I am very patient. I like to keep the lessons interesting and fun. We use a lot of real examples of things to help with increasing vocabulary. We can role-play and practise conversations or different scenarios like job interviews or just speaking English in social life, business or travel.
I have a Bachelor's in Economics, studied linguistics and am TESOL and TEFL certified. I teach via conversation. I’ve taken basic courses in Zulu, French & German and I speak Afrikaans as a 2nd language in my own country. So, I know what it feels like to learn a new language!

I‘ve been learning English with Terry for one year now. In the beginning it was difficult to find the right vocabulary and expressions from my thoughts. Terry always created a positive learning atmosphere in which my speaking blocks were overcome. Her calm and warm manner gave me more confidence to speak. Terry tailored each lesson to my needs and I felt welcome. She is a professional teacher, she explains the grammar and helps me with my pronunciation. And I enjoy the fact that you can laugh with her. The lessons are a gift for me. I always look forward to our next lesson. I think it is important to know that she is very reliable and her technology works well.
