Hi everyone, I'm Hana!
こんにちは、わたしの名前ははなです。
ME🌼 I worked in bars, cafes and guesthouses in Osaka for more than 4 years, and after graduating from university I worked for an airline company. Now I run a small business in Tokyo;) I love to learn new things, so please tell me about your culture!
HOBBY🥜 I absolutely adore watching movies, listening music, eating quality food and embarking on an adventure whilst traveling - let's share our hobbies and have a great time!我的教學經歷
Through my past experiences I've met a lot of lovely people from all over the world and the one thing that stuck out to me the most was the opinion about how difficult Japanese is to learn as a second language (especially Kanji! ><)
I've decided to take to italki so I may reach more potential friends around the world and converse in this beautiful language! I'm so excited to use the new methods of teaching I learnt in practice in our learning together!

Ultimately, my goal as a teacher isn’t to stick you in front of your computer for an hour and have a formal lesson. It’s to naturally develop your Japanese through a holistic and organic method! The sociable teaching environment that I developed in my time with travellers is a much more relaxed yet engaging approach that allows us to have a fun time together, whilst very effective in memory retention and allows you to speak with all the nuances of a native speaker!
Learning doesn't have to be a chore if you're just talking with a friend🌸我的教材

Hana is a very bubbly person that creates a wonderful space to engage in language learning. As someone who is not yet proficient in Japanese and tends to be naturally more passive in conversation, Hana intuitively understands this and remains proactive throughout by asking questions and providing clear and concise explanations of things I don’t understand. Conversation is an art, a dance if you will, and despite the challenging nature of speaking in a second language, I can think of few partners that would be better than Hana. いつもありがとう。☺️

Hana is an exceptional teacher who quickly puts you at ease and is extremely attentive to making the lessons engaging. I learn new vocabulary every time I have a lesson with her.
After over 2 years of taking classes with Hana, not only have I improved my Japanese proficiency and gained confidence in speaking, but we have also developed a strong friendship. Now, every lesson feels like catching up with a friend in a Tokyo café.
I cannot recommend her teaching enough!

Hana-san is always kind, respectful, and incredibly encouraging when you're having a hard time understanding something. She doesn't just give answers—she patiently guides you toward the right understanding, making sure you truly grasp the topic. Her support makes a big difference, especially when things feel confusing.

Hana-Sensei is an outstanding teacher. She always encourages me and creates a positive and supportive learning environment. One of her greatest strengths is her ability to adapt her teaching style to suit my needs. Whenever I struggle to understand a topic, she takes the time to explain it in a different way until it makes sense. Her patience and dedication truly make a difference in my learning experience. I highly recommend Hana-Sensei to anyone who wants to start learning effectively and with confidence.
