As a PhD linguist specializing in bilingual and multilingual acquisition, I am passionate about teaching Brazilian Portuguese. My academic background includes a PhD in Linguistics from UFC - Brazil, focusing on language acquisition in bilingual contexts. I also hold a master's in Linguistics from UFPB - Brazil and a postgraduate specialization in teaching foreign languages. With extensive experience in teaching Portuguese and English, I combine scholarly rigor with practical expertise.我的教學經歷
For any level, I am SUPER patient, outgoing and excited about my students at class time. I am very committed to teaching so that my students really learn, notice their mistakes but don't feel bad about them, because mistakes are part of this language construction. I prepare a PowerPoint presentation with pronunciation tips (and accents), introduction to phonetic symbols (Portuguese phonetic tips) and the sounds of Brazilian Portuguese, isolated vocabularies and then small everyday phrases using such vocabulary, idioms, cultural curiosities and small doses of grammar when necessary. The student will be monitored during the class and I will always be attentive to corrections and improvements.我的課程內容與教學風格
1- Students from scratch: A FREE book in PDF that is made available to the student (one chapter for each scheduled lesson / class). ELEMENTARY and INTERMEDIATE students receive a Power Point slid of the lesson e/ Book PDF with vocabularies, verbs, expressions, phonetics and gravar topics.
Vocabularies are accompanied by phonetic transcriptions that will guide students in the perfect pronunciation of words. The teacher will personally teach you in extra supplementary YouTube videos how to use them. The content of each lesson studied will be used in future lessons. Homework is send if the student asks me.我的教材

I could not ask for a better Portuguese teacher! After each lesson with Alyson, I feel encouraged and motivated to continue studying Portuguese. He structures his lessons very effectively. Each lesson, I gain a lot about practical vocabulary, pronunciation tips, and cultural information. Alyson is very good at explaining more difficult topics in the language. He is also a very warm person.
