100% recommend! I have been having weekly lessons with Kru Cake for about half a year now. I am a Thai language major at university so I have plenty of Thai classes, but I still prioritise these weekly lessons with Cake because they provide me with the speaking practice that is so essential to learning a language. Lessons with Cake are never boring because they are a creative and smart person who is happy to have a laugh or to talk about serious topics. They are very patient, let me speak as much as I like, and provide me with corrections in an encouraging way. They are a great teacher who really goes above and beyond. I’ve just finished my 8th Thai class with Kru Cake, and wow — I’ve learned so many new words! 😄 Every lesson makes me feel like I can say longer, more complete sentences. What’s really cool is that I get to reuse words from previous lessons, so things are starting to stick! I love being able to learn about gender identity words in Thai! Been learning Thai weekly with Cake for almost 6 months now, I’m grateful! Today was my 10th lesson with Kru Cake. Starting today, Kru Cake began teaching me how to read Thai. By introducing new vocabulary, Kru Cake helps me gradually become familiar with Thai script while expanding my vocabulary. I think this method is truly amazing! In our lessons, we not only learn through natural conversation, but Kru Cake also uses videos to help me practice listening and comprehension. All in all, Kru Cake’s teaching style makes learning Thai really enjoyable and gives me the motivation to keep studying every day. Thank you, Kru Cake!

It’s already the third week of classes, and I can clearly feel that I'm able to speak longer sentences than before. I'm also starting to remember more vocabulary. Today, I finally got the word “boss” to stick! It kept showing up in our conversations over the past two weeks, which really helped it stick in my mind. I was also a bit hesitant about learning the months in Thai at first, but since I started with “February” last week, I’ve gotten a basic feel for the months from January to May. This is especially helpful because we often use the months in our conversations, which has made it easier to remember them. Even though I just started learning with Kru Cake, my Thai has already improved a lot. Kru Cake also takes the extra time to organize the words we use in class and carefully sort them into categories — so thoughtful and helpful. ขอบคุณมากนะคะ Kru Cake!
