My name is Judith, a passionate Czech language lecturer with over 10 years of experience. Holding a Ph.D. in Russian literature, I specialize in making Czech accessible to speakers of English, Russian, or Italian—tailoring lessons to your goals. Beyond teaching, I am a volunteer and I love to nurture my orchard, but my heart lies in sharing Czech culture’s depth, from history to its quirky beauty (yes, even brutalist architecture!). Let’s turn language into your bridge to Central Europe.
I have been teaching Czech, English and Russian for almost 15 years. I started teaching Czech to foreign students in the Czech republic and in Ukraine and I truly fell in love with my mother tongue. I was trained as a lecturer of Czech language by Czech Centre in Kyiv so apart from the language teaching I can offer you an insight into long Czech history and our rich culture. I always strive to adjust the lesson´s plan and style to individual requirements of students.
In my opinion, language is a tool of communication so I always aim to tailor my lessons to the needs of students to teach them how to turn theory into practice. Speaking is a vital part of our lives and if you are a beginner I will help you to overcome shyness.
I am also ready to assist you in improving your language skills if you are an advanced student.
GENERAL LANGUAGE AND CONVERSATION
We will be speaking a lot from the first lesson! Using what you have learned in practise is the best way of improving your language skills.
