I am a native Japanese speaker from Fukuoka, and I offer instruction in standard Japanese (Tokyo dialect). With good English comprehension, I can understand your questions and provide clear explanations.
I lived in New York for 1.5 years and traveled between Japan and the US twice a year for my fashion business until 2020. In March 2026, I graduated from the Faculty of Economics, successfully balancing my professional career with my academic pursuits. As a lifelong learner myself, I understand the challenges of studying and am committed to supporting your learning journey with patience and empathy. I strive to create a fun and natural environment tailored to your goals.

Sachie sensei was very friendly, relaxed, and easy to talk to. She was matching my current level with her speech rate and was happy to repeat the things I didn’t understand. I definitely learned some new things and felt that I improved my understanding of the language.

Sa-chan has such a nice personality and is so fun to talk to that I end up talking about so many things and forget I'm still learning the language.. But she's very patient so I don't shy away from making mistakes or long blanks. I end up learning any unknown words anyway since she provides context-rich sentence notes after each lesson

I really enjoy Sachie先生’s organic approach of teaching. We jump-started into listening and speaking practice even when I barely knew any vocabulary. She believed in me even before I believed in myself. She accepts my current status while still challenges me to try and make my own sentences. We talked about things in real life so that the vocabulary and expression can be ingrained in my brain. 3 months ago I could not have imagined how much I progressed from scratch. Learning from her is a very good investment and super motivating.
