Crystal Lin is a great teacher! I struggle with all parts of learning the language (tones, words, writing, and reading), but she is very patient no matter how many times we have to repeat things. She tailors the lessons to what the student wants and needs without hesitation, and sends review notes and other materials to read and study long after class is over. I feel that she is extremely dedicated when it comes to teaching language and wants to see all of her students excel in learning Chinese.

木木老师 has been a fantastic teacher for my three-year-old son. I especially appreciate how flexible she has been, adjusting based on the interests and moods of our son. 木木老师 is patient and engaging. Given how she's scaled lessons, I have no doubts that she would be an excellent teacher for all ages.

I’ve been learning Business Chinese with Crystal laoshi for about 10 months now, and I’ve had 33 lessons with her so far. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found such a wonderful teacher. Crystal laoshi is punctual, enthusiastic, thorough, and always encouraging. She is extremely organised and has a real talent for making lessons both effective and enjoyable. I’ve made so much progress with her guidance, and I always look forward to our lessons. My daughter has been taking lessons with Ms. Lin for almost 2 years and I am very satisfied with her progress. Ms. Lin is patient, knowledgeable, and always prepared for our lessons. My 8 year old daughter is currently in a Mandarin immersion program at school but we do not speak Mandarin at all at home. This her 3rd year in the program but as we progress, it has been getting more complicated. We have been working with her 2x per week and she has been a great help with my daughter's advancement. We provide her with the school work and she has been using that material for their lessons. My daughter's grade has already improved in class.

Crystal is an excellent Mandarin teacher who is always well prepared and puts a great deal of care into each lesson. She is able to explain concepts clearly and adapt her teaching to the student’s needs. Her lessons are engaging and organized. I highly recommend her!
