Hi, I'm Patricia and I'm from Porto Alegre, south of Brazil. I love to travel, meet people from all places, and chat about different subjects, from the simplest to the most complex ones! My taste for movies, series and music varies quite a lot, from pop to heavy metal, from comedy to horror, but rock n roll and 90's sitcoms will always have my heart.

I've been an English teacher for over 15 years. I worked in schools for many years as a teacher and also as a teacher-coordinator. I have been teaching online since 2018, having joined italki in 2020. I go to university to study Portuguese, which is my mother tongue that I also love to teach. I'm getting my degree at the end of 2024.

I like my lessons to be dynamic and to keep the students involved and comfortable in exploring the language. I work with different methods and activities, taking into consideration the goals and needs of my students. The classes are planned to make the most out of the content learned, ensuring the expected results.
