On my first call with Marleen, I explained that I had an ambitious goal - to begin learning Dutch, study with dedication and efficiency, and be ready to pass the A2 exams within five months. I did not know any Dutch words at the time and had no exposure to the language. She was up for the challenge! We created a plan, I met with her twice per week, and five months later I took all of the exams and passed!
