My name is Ian and I'm from Northampton in the UK. I have been a teacher for the past 10 years and my teaching career has taken me all over the world. I have taught in England, South Korea, Hungary and China but I am currently living and working in the beautiful city of Tbilisi in Georgia. My passions include travelling, hiking and wine! I am a fully qualified English teacher with 10 years of experience teaching students from all over the world and of all different levels. I started teaching in 2010, earning my CELTA qualification in 2012 and starting my DELTA in 2017. I specialise in teaching higher level students, Book Clubs (in which we read a book together) and exam preparation for IELTS. However, throughout my career I have taught everyone from beginner to advanced and from students to CEO's and I can plan lessons for students of any level.我的課程內容與教學風格
I try to make my lessons as interactive as possible with a focus on speaking. Every lesson is different but my signature lessons are based around Books. I have a passion for books and as such I have developed comprehensive English courses around some of the most popular nonficition books available. Every student is different and I like to work with you to create lessons that are useful, interesting and engaging for you. All of my classes are tailored to suit your needs and I use a range of tools in my lessons including PowerPoint presentations, TED talk videos, youtube videos and coursebooks. I teach lessons via Skype or Zoom and always try to give my students lots of homework and feedback.我的教材
