I am a language teacher🧑🏫 and linguistics professor👨🎓. In my spare time I like to read news and stay on top of what's going on in the world. I like to walk with my dog (he's called 'Cilantro🐕') and ride my motorcycle🏍️.

I believe that education is the most empowered tool we have as individuals and as a society. My philosophy is that with enough time and effort anyone can learn anything. I love the challenge of thinking from the perspective of my students to help them learn. I have worked as a language teacher for 20 years and in 2018 I did a master's degree in Bilingual and Linguistic Education.我的課程內容與教學風格
A lesson with me begins by getting to know my student: their skills, knowledge and goals for learning Spanish. I can adapt to many different learning styles, from the most dynamic and conversation-focused, to those that require a more grammatical approach.
I will recommend a customized approach according to your Spanish level, learning style and goals in our first class. I will also create a personalized profile of you as a student and I will share it with you so that you can see your own progress. WE'LL BE USING AI TOOLS TOO!🤖
I am passionate about languages and I like being able to share that passion with my students through literature, music, etc.我的教材

Every lesson is so fun, productive and insightful. Julian is a great teacher, his lessons never feel like a chore, which is usually what I'd struggle with learning languages in the past.
I've tried other iTalki teachers before finding Julian but no one else fit from the first 5-10 minutes.
Really recommend Julian as a teacher both for total newbies like myself or those that need to polish their knowledge of certain topics.
