Hello, my name is Anna and I would like to teach you German and English. I’m Austrian and I currently live in Graz. I speak German, English and French, as I used to live in France, for a couple of years. I moved to Bordeaux without knowing one word in French. Therefore, I believe that I have a great understanding of what it means to learn a language from the ground up.
I am a secondary school teacher in Austria, my subjects include English and German as foreign languages, among others. I also have a master’s degree in school education and a bachelor’s degree in German studies.
I have been teaching German since 2012 and English since 2015, both in schools and in companies too.我的教學經歷
I’m a very patient teacher. I try to teach from a real-life-perspective, so my lessons are very much centered around your needs. You decide how often we meet and which areas we are going to focus on. I am very happy to assist you in your language-learning journey.
In our first lesson, we will first get to know each other a little bit. We will talk about goals and interests. We will also discuss the purpose of learning German or English – do you want to pass a language test? Do you need it for work or your studies? Is it just a personal interest?我的課程內容與教學風格
Of course, our lesson should cater to your needs – therefore I offer a variety of teaching materials. We can talk about numerous topics of your interest, have discussions or communicate using roleplays for everyday or work situations or job interviews as well as mock calls. Practicing of useful phrases and identifying false friends will also help you to improve your writing skills.
Only practice makes perfect. Homework and further reading are not required, but strongly recommended. I also like to keep our lessons entertaining – games, audio and video will frequently used during our time together.我的教材

It is impossible to overstate the value I have derived from my first lesson. I look forward to many more lessons as engaging and instructive as this one.
We covered a lot of ground today but at a comfortable pace: introductions, a selection of verbs, adjectives, nouns, used in context, days of the week, counting, telling time, and none of it felt rushed.
