Hi My name is Johan. I have been a teacher in mathematics for more than 15 years now. Teaching languages is something new that I look forward to. I love to travel and dance. I still have to explore Africa, something I really looking forward to. By this initiative I very much looking forward to meet people from around the world who would like to learn English or Swedish. As a teacher I put the students first. I believe that the students have great knowledge how they learn best and my mission is to support you the best I can along the way. I´m very patient as a teacher, and I find it important to give students time to reflect and learn in their way. It needs to be fun to learn, otherwise everything becomes so much harder. In contrast to that there are always some things you just have to learn, though it might take great effort to do so. I can be very flexible in my teaching, dependent on what is needed in that specific moment in the learning process. I believe in a sound balance between tasks/assignments and more casually learning aiming on using the language as much as possible.

Jag kan varmt rekommendera Johan till alla som vill bli bättre på att prata svenska! Han är otroligt lätt att prata med, väldigt engagerad, tålmodig och alltid trevlig. Lektionerna känns naturliga, roliga och motiverande. Han anpassade alltid lektionerna efter mina behov, till exempel inför språktestet Swedex och jobbintervjuer, vilket hjälpte mig jättemycket. Tack vare honom känner jag mig mycket säkrare när jag pratar svenska nu :)

I had my first lesson with Johan today and it was great! He is helpful and caring. He was able to meet me at my proficiency level, which was fantastic. So if you feel anxious because you don't know much, don't worry. He can help you.
