I've worked as a teacher at a high school tutoring company, and am presently also maintaining a freelance tutoring business for elementary school students - having helped students of all ages on their entrance exams!
I am currently fortunate enough to be working in developmental psychology; devising and conducting therapy for children with mental disability.
It's through these experiences, witnessing the growth of students, that I've come to realise the significance of learning through connection, and is why I've taken to italki to interact with people around the globe!

I've never been a fan of formal, rigid teaching, and have over the years devised a relaxed teaching process for my students!
Learning together in a familiar, comfortable environment; distractions become an opportunity to expand imagination, speaking freely leads to creative solutions and both parties develop a more sincere connection.
Whether we first explore the fundamentals or can jump straight into merry conversation, our lessons will be tailored to your current ability and future goals; aiming for natural memory retention.
English is a finicky language to master for a non-native speaker, but I don't believe it has to be a chore - it's just a matter of learning with a friend every day!我的教材

As always, the class was excellent. I absolutely love the fact that our lessons don`t feel like the lessons we all used to, it feels like catching up with a friend because the classes are, not at any point boring and you can discuss whatever you want practising English at the same time. Billy always cheers me up, not only regardless of learning the language but the life and its hustles itself. So grateful for that

I spoke a lot of broken English, but he totally understood what I wanted to say and helped fix my sentences. It was incredibly helpful, and he encouraged me a lot. If you're lacking confidence, practicing your English with him is the best choice!

One of the best teachers I've ever had on italki. If you want an easy-going teacher with a wide perspective don't hasitate to choose Billy. He always has materials ready for our lesson but he always listens to you and doesn't just ask another pre-arranged question. Sometimes we don't even get to the materials and just chat about current events in the world or our lives. Highly recomended!

He has a bright vibe and is fun to talk to. You can feel time flies when talking, that much it was so much fun. And I like his nice Australian accent!
