我的教學經歷
- I've had 1000+ hours of Chinese teaching experience online for students at all levels and with different needs. (HSK test, Oral skills, Writing skills, and Reading skills)
- I have a TESOL certificate, so I can speak quite fluent English.
- I used to work with an international language school for about 7 years, which equipped me with intercultural communication skills.

- for beginner and elementary students(or anyone who needs a structured lesson), my lessons are well-structured and with specific goals. You will see a clear improvement by each lesson. If we use a textbook, I'll always customize it to make it more authentic and useful, so you won't feel you speak like a robot even at the early stage.
- for intermediate+ students(who wants to mainly focus on speaking) we can always immerse naturally in an interesting topic. I'll help you identify your weakness and fix your problems without hurting your fluency.

This was my 100th lesson with Shay, and I am extremely happy to have her as my teacher. Every lesson with Shay is fun and exciting, and I always look forward to them.
She is very supportive, and never makes me feel embarrassed when I forget something, or when I say the wrong word.
She explains things very clearly, and is very patient. I am thankful to have the opportunity to learn from her!

Shay was very patient with my speed, but challenged me in my reading, listening, and speaking throughout the class. Within a few lessons, I have greatly expanding my vocabulary alongside my comprehension in Mandarin to the point where my native Chinese friends have made comments on my speaking/listening. Would highly recommend her to anyone who wants to learn regardless of your level.
