我的教學經歷

I have studied Korean, and English in South Korea and the Philippines. I understand how hard it is to learn the language and adapt to the culture. Through my own experience as a student, I try to make my lessons as enjoyable and relaxed as possible to make you speak comfortably. My personalities I'm a good listener, calm, patient, and friendly. I'm not a hyper-energetic personality. If you expect that from me, I might need some booze.

我的課程內容與教學風格

For the beginner level, I will give you the lessons using the "Minna no Nihongo" textbook. The lessons are basically based on PowerPoints and worksheets. Using worksheets, and activities, you can focus on speaking. After checking the meaning of grammar, you will do pattern practice to get used to speaking, as well as for mouth movement. The goal is to focus on speaking without resorting to Hiragana, Kanji, or any Japanese letters. About free talking, I will let you talk as much as possible and correct to natural Japanese when necessary. #みんなの日本語#プロレス#日本語#初級#音楽#旅行

I have just completed over 100 lessons with Mika-san! I think this is a testament to just how good a teacher she is. When I started I knew some words and grammar from using Wanikani and Bunpo but I couldn't string a sentence together. Mika never judged or got impatient as she got to know me she came up with lessons to get me speaking and I think my speaking has improved dramatically because of her. She really wants to help her students improve and that passion she has really makes me want to improve. I am so glad I picked her to be my tutor when I started this journey and I can't recommend her enough. I'm already looking forward to my 1000th lesson.

I was really nervous going in, as, despite studying Japanese for two years, I had never had a single Japanese conversation. Mika sensei is friendly, put me at ease straight away and patiently tried to understand what I was trying to say :D I had a lot of fun talking about our shared music tastes, and recommend her for any fans of 80s J-pop. Looking forward to our next lesson!

I have been practicing Japanese with Mika San for almost almost five months and all I can say is that the lessons are amazing. Mika San gave me a lot of prompts and time to talk about what I’d like to talk and intervened only when needed, not interrupting my thinking, which is what beginners need when practicing oral conversation. She was very patient and marked down how I could improve in a file for my reference. Thanks to her feedback and practice, I was able to go from not being able to construct a Japanese sentence to being able to ask for tax refund procedures in Japanese during my trip to Tokyo. Highly recommended!
