It was a pleasure! Ayaka sensei was skilled at adjusting her word choice in our conversations to adjust to my level of Japanese. She was quick to highlight words or phrases I had misunderstandings or did not know and note them for me.

Ayaka sensei is one of the best. She is incredibly kind and patient. Personally, I've benefitted a lot from the structure of her classes which involve a lot of review/repetition but also the introduction of new concepts, patterns, or words. I have not been to Japan in a few years, but in studying with Ayaka, I feel confident that my Japanese language ability has grown in our time together.

Every lesson is a lightbulb moment and I always walk away knowing something new. I love my Japanese classes with Ayaka Sensei.

I find some words hard to remember, but Ayaka Sensei always suggests lots of useful strategies to help me. She is a fabulous teacher.
