My proficiency spans 9+ years of instructing children in ESL, Debate and Geography, along with 7+ years dedicated to adults in specialized areas such as Business English, OPIC, TOEFL, IELTS test preparation, and general ESL. A seasoned online educator entering my 7th year teaching remotely. My adaptability shines through in both physical and virtual classrooms, where I quickly tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each student. My proficiency in leveling ensures that each lesson is meticulously tailored to individual needs, encompassing essential skills such as reading comprehension, pronunciation, fluency, vocabulary, grammar, and both speaking and listening comprehension. My approach is highly flexible, with lessons designed to fit either a single session or extend over multiple classes, adapting to each student's unique learning path. Online ESL TeacherI taught one on one classes using the VIPKid Platform and curriculum. Due to a change in regulations with online education in China, I decided to part ways with the company and work independently.

Online Teacher and Curriculum DeveloperThis was a startup and I helped to develop their online content in the areas of leadership, emotional intelligence and entrepreneurship. I was also one of their first and most requested teachers. Unfortunately this company was launched just before the Covid pandemic and wasn't in the position to overcome the economic impact.

I struggled with my English speaking skills for a long time. I have studied with a number of teachers in group classes and private lessons, but no one could point out my weaknesses as clearly as Mandy did.
Initially, she emphasized that I needed to improve my pronunciation to be clear and understandable for native speakers. While she couldn't teach pronunciation directly, she guided me to resources where I could practice and gave me the opportunity to show her my progress, offering affirmation and support. Thanks to her assistance, my confidence in speaking has improved, and I have stopped mumbling.
Next, my weakest point, which was grammar, became the focus. I constantly forget to use basic grammatical structures such as 's/es' and proper tenses. Mandy helped me acquire the tools necessary to speak mindfully. She took her job seriously and ensured that I made progress.
Even after achieving my desired scores, I continued taking classes with her because she is a kind sister figure...
