Hi! My name is Leonardo, I’m native in Spanish and I’m a professional Spanish teacher.
I was born in Montevideo, Uruguay.
My hobbies are watching TV shows, movies and anime, acting, playing some video games, and learning about foreign cultures and languages.
I graduated from an acting career, and have studies on Linguistics. As I love to reach foreign people, I became a teacher of Spanish as a second language.我的教學經歷
I studied japanese for many years in different ways, and I understood what the most important approaches in a language class were.
I started teaching spanish 7 years ago to japanese people that were working here in Uruguay.
In my opinion, the most important thing in a language class is to practice with topics of your interest, and take in consideration what are your purposes of learning the language.

All classes will have a conversational approach, but of course, if you want to focus exclusively on some grammar point, I’ll help you with that.
For very beginners, unless there is a topic you wanna talk about, we’ll use images to talk about what we see, and when you are ready, I’ll be asking you things about that.
We will get into Spanish in a very natural way, where you don’t need to worry about grammar, and you will acquire the language through listening and speaking. I’ll take note of the used vocabulary of every class, and I’ll give it to you so you can practice and track your improvement.
We can use images, news, TV shows, or even daily life to trigger the conversation.證書

I have completed around 30 lessons with Leo.
Leo is great to work with and utilizes multiple methods to help build vocabulary, learn present / past tense conjugations, and build representations of actions & feelings.
Leo speaks English very well and provides a lot of context when translating words or sayings that may not have a clean English equivalent.
Leo is always on-time, prepared and provides a great learning environment.
While I am very young in my language journey, it has been great working with Leo and I will continue to work with him going forward. Highly recommend to book a class with him!

Una clase con Leo es siempre una aventura agradable. Tiene un gran sentido del humor y siempre está dispuesto a contar una historia divertida o a compartir un chiste. Hoy, por ejemplo, hemos hablado de ver a Uruguay en el Mundial, de la frase "me da vergüenza ajena," y de lo que hizo el pavo de Joe Biden que merece ser perdonar. Lo único malo de una clase con Leo es que se pasa demasiado rápido. ¡Dos pulgares arriba!
