Amazing teacher !!!

Varvara is an excellent teacher. I can't recommend her highly enough. I started last year with zero Russian at my command and now I can spend an entire lesson speaking only in Russian. Part of what makes Varvara such an effective teacher is that she speaks clearly and engagingly, at a pace that matches the student's level of listening comprehension, and with vocabulary simple enough to keep the conversation going but advanced enough to encourage growth. She also has endless patience, which for me is a must, as I have an endless amount of questions on even the most obscure points of grammar. Varvara was the first and only Russian teacher I ever connected with on iTalki and all I can say is that I got extremely lucky.

Varvara is an outstanding tutor and conversationalist! She is very motivating, encouraging, and is exactly the person you need to learn and enhance your Russian skills. I always look forward to our lessons every time and they seemingly fly by while conversing and learning with her about a myriad of topics. Meanwhile, I'm learning new vocabulary, phrases, culture, and proper ways to pronounce everything. Varvara is quick to provide corrections and the proper vocabulary or expression, which is exactly what is needed to improve and get better every day.
