She is an unusually gifted teacher and makes excellent use of her extensive knowledge and training. Lessons are always well planned and organized, creative, flexible, and infirmative. If you are serious about not only gaining competence but also understanding the language at a deeper level, you could do no better than Kelly.

If you are looking for someone to help you speak Chinese in a natural and authentic way, make your Chinese as much perfect as possible, Kelly must be that person! Well to be honest, I used to wanna jump fast to the next level of Chinese by swallowing as many new vocabularies or grammar points as possible, but now I realized that it is not the effective way to help me speak Chinese. Kelly just taught me a certain amount of knowledge in each lesson so that I can absorb well and truly understand the words, how to use and apply it in different contexts. She is patient to practice with me, trying to make me sound like Chinese in every sentence I speak out. Talking so long, today lesson is great! Learned very useful phrases/sentences commonly used in daily conversation. As always, appreciate your extra-mile efforts to help me gradually mingle with Chinese vibes, getting closer to many layers of Chinese culture. I am really in awe of your taste and knowledge! Kelly is a truly phenomenal teacher. For one, she's very student-centric: she meets me at my level (while still also pushing me out of my comfort zone) and she tailors her lessons to focus on both what I'm interested in and what my goals are. She's also very warm and friendly, and lessons with her seldom feel like *lessons* - they're more like conversations , even if we're going through an HSK textbook. I cannot recommend her as a tutor highly enough.
