In my first lesson, Rose was very understanding and easy to talk to, working with me to figure out the best learning approach for me to take. She gauged my existing skill level and then gave me challenges to come up with new sentences based on the words I knew, while teaching me new words and phrases along the way. These sentences were all useful building blocks for basic conversation, which is exactly what I want to focus on at this stage. The lesson was fun and stimulating, so I'll be back for more!

This course is designed for learners who wish to be prepared for taking the TOEFL/ IELTS / GRE/ PET/ TOEIC/ SSAT/ Junior TOEFL and more.
Depending on each student's learning needs, the test preparation lessons will include training in test vocabulary, speaking tasks,  reading tasks, writing essays, etc.

This course is specifically designed for learners who would like focused training on appropriate American English pronunciation and intonation. English Pronunciation and Intonation Training

Informal Tutoring

This course is intended for students of Chinese in general, and more importantly for businesspeople. 
The course covers topics specially designed to enhance learners' business communication skills and cultural awareness through business-oriented situational dialogues. Learners may become better equipped to interact with their local colleagues, employees, and clients in China by acquiring industry and workplace-specific vocabulary and expressions. 
Relevant cultural points to assist beginning Chinese language learners to better understand basic social norms and modes of interaction in China are also included. 
Overall, interactive communication skills are prioritized to enable students to reach a basic level of Chinese language proficiency in a reasonable amount of time.

This course is designed for intermediate to advanced learners who would like to achieve better fluency in English or Mandarin Chinese via casual conversations on common topics.
