I’ve had over 20 lessons with Farha and they are always super helpful and fun. Farha doesn’t hesitate to correct my pronunciation but also does it in such a kind way. She sometimes tells me what my mistakes could mean (it’s nothing like what I want to say) and it’s always so funny. Farha also sheds light on the cultural implications behind certain phrases. Last but not least, Farha makes her lessons so affordable and worth the money. I always leave her class with a ton of knowledge in a such a short time. After taking lessons for 5 months (30 min lessons once every week), I’ve been able to sound out words and read. I can follow along songs with lyrics in Bangla and even sing along. Do try to book her for your lessons and you’ll see what I mean!

She is very genuine and able to teach according to your needs. She is also patient and taught informal and formal ways of speaking in Bengali depending on how close you are to someone. I can ask her as many questions in pronunciation and grammar. She also motivated me to form sentences in Bengali. Thank you so much for your kind encouragement. 😊
