My name is Manuel (Me llamo Manuel).
I’ m from Mexico City (Soy de la ciudad de México). Although I lived in Spain for two years (Aunque viví en España durante dos años), I currently live in Mexico. (Actualmente, vivo en México).
I am a linguist (Soy lingüista). I have a master’s degree in lexicography (tengo una maestría en lexicografía) from Royal Spanish Academy ( por la Real Academia Española ) and another in Hispanic linguitics (y otra en lingüística Hispánica) from The National Autonomous University of Mexico (por la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México).我的教學經歷
I am a, patient, dynamic and flexible teacher (Soy un profesor dinámico y flexible) -for all levels and all ages (para todos los niveles y todas las edades)-, and easily adapt (y me adapto) to my students’ needs (a las necesidades de mis estudiantes). We will use the Communicative Aproach to Iearn Spanish. The Communicative approach is based on the idea that learning language successfully come through having to communicate real mining.
I will plan each lesson (Planearé cada lección) according to what my students (de acuerdo con lo que mis estudiantes) tell me they would you like to learn, practice or study (me digan que les gustaría aprender, practicar o estudiar): spoken (hablar); for example (por ejemplo): conversation (conversación), pronuntiation (pronunciación) or role play (juego de roles); written (escribir), listening (escuchar) and reading (leer); idioms (expresiones idiomáticas); gestures (gestos), culture (cultura)...我的教材

He has a wide knowledge of the Spanish language and is quite informative. He is incredibly approachable as an instructor and every session with him is a pleasant, fun and illuminating. I feel so very fortunate to have Juan Manuel as my Spanish teacher.

Manuel is an incredible teacher who I always look forward to talking to. We always have great conversation and usually end up conversing about life. He is always energetic and more than willing to come up with homework or examples to help solidify concepts for me.

Juan was energetic, yet patient, when I encountered something I did not understand. He spoke more slowly at my request. He asked questions that forced me to think in the language I am learning. Highly recommended.
