Hello! I’m Tim, a CELTA-qualified native English teacher from the UK with a clear southern British accent.
I work with adult learners at all levels, from beginners to advanced students, and I enjoy helping students build confidence step by step — whether they are starting from zero or refining an already strong level of English.
As a serious learner of Spanish myself, I understand how challenging it can be to learn a foreign language at different stages, from the early struggle to express basic ideas to the frustration of not sounding as natural as you’d like.我的教學經歷
My lessons are student-centred, structured, and practical. I adapt carefully to your needs and focus on the areas that will make the biggest difference to your communication.
I pay close attention to:
- grammar patterns that cause repeated problems
- gaps in vocabulary and natural phrasing
- pronunciation, stress, and intonation
I’m patient and supportive, but I’ll also give you clear, honest feedback and help you build a plan so you can see real progress over time.

I use a communicative approach, which means you’ll speak a lot — but with purpose. While you speak, I listen carefully and give targeted feedback so that your English becomes more precise and more natural, not just more fluent.
We can work with a wide range of materials (articles, audio, videos, textbooks), and I’m particularly happy to help with:
- expanding vocabulary (including idioms and natural phrasing)
- pronunciation and intonation
- preparing for exams such as IELTS, Cambridge First and Advanced

Since I have been learning with Tim I am more confidential in language usage, especially in speaking and pronunciation, not to mention my grammar improvement. His teaching method is consistent focusing the demand of learners. I am always happy to meet him and have a well enjoyed lesson.
