Hello, I’m Stuart—a dedicated British Council teacher with over 18 years of experience helping professionals and students master English for business, interviews, and high-stakes exams like IELTS and TOEFL. My passion lies in making English learning both practical and enjoyable, whether you're preparing for career advancement, international travel, or even gaming (yes, I’m a gamer too!). As a London native with a CELTA certification, a Postgraduate Certificate in Online and Distance Education (PG Cert ODE), and fluency in Spanish, I bring a unique blend of expertise to every lesson. Focus on Conversation (Dogme) - emphasis on real communication and speaking, rather than a rigid lesson plan.
Role-Playing - act out a particular role-play that can focus on a business situation or real-life event. Many students like to do this to practice work presentations or job interviews.
Storytelling/articles - Reading a story or a news article. Retelling and predicting what happens next are good ways to develop vocabulary and comprehension skills.
