Hi! My name is Marika, I am 25 years old and I am currently based in Rome. I successfully completed a degree in Interpreting and Translation, and I currently work as a language teacher in educational institutions and online, but also as a professional interpreter and translator.
My areas of specialisation include Spanish, English and Dutch.
I firmly believe that the key to achieving fluency in a foreign language lies in consistent and meaningful conversation. That’s why I initially joined Italki as a student, and today I’m thrilled to support others on their own language-learning path as a teacher.我的教學經歷

As I have already said, during my lessons I would like you to have fun. So I will structure my lessons according to your needs and wishes. In general I think it is very important to work on conversation, so we will talk about many different topics to help you enrich your vocabulary. I will always try to speak in Italian to get the most out of our lessons and not waste a single minute!

Marika is not only one of my favorite teachers but one of my favorite people as well. She’s someone who I’ve been doing lessons with for many years now and will continue to do so. I’m so glad that I chose her because every lesson has been great and is very nice and caring.

Marika is a trustworthy teacher and very ethic. She doesn’t try to rush or drag things for her own benefit. If you are a committed and respectful student, you should book a lesson with her. She is also very kind and patient. Tell her beforehand the topic you want to address and she will definitely adapt to it.

Another great lesson with Marika. She is easygoing, sweet, and most importantly for intermediate speakers like myself, patient. She doesn't try to rush you or complete your sentences for you which I appreciate greatly. It's good to develop a thought process for yourself in your target language and Marika allows you to do so. She is becoming one of my regular tutors for Italian now. Would recommend.
