Hey there! Welcome, welcome - take a seat! :D
Let me introduce myself: I'm Bianca, I grew up in Romania and two years ago I moved to Prague.
I currently work as a Headhunter for the pharmaceutical industry in Belgium, so I spend most of my days talking in French and English (and sometimes in Dutch).
I’m passionate about lots of things, such as business, art, cinema, stand-up comedy (just to name a few) … But the one thing that connected me to all these industries - is language learning.
From a young age, I realized the importance of learning another language as a way to advance your career, build new friendships, expand your horizons and… well, not having to read subtitles.
A native Romanian with a C2 Cambridge certificate (Dec 2020), I instruct in both English and Romanian across all levels and purposes, from casual chats to academic writing.
Tailoring my teaching to each learner, I can vary my pace, vocabulary, and sentence structure. With a patient ear and lively teaching style, I prioritize relaxed yet stimulating lessons.
Our sessions may cover diverse topics for rich conversations, and I supply exercises and materials to enrich learning.
In my classes, I foster an atmosphere where students freely express themselves, embracing mistakes as learning steps.
I, too, am on a linguistic journey with Dutch, Italian and Russian, so I understand the initial challenges. However, breaking through those barriers brings you closer to fluency.

Completed first lesson, and I had a very good impression, it gave me confidence that I can learn the materials, she seems very organised and experienced, showed me a preview of all different types of materials, I like her style of mixing them, it makes things interesting and adds some fun to it. În lecția de azi am vorbit mai repede (și dacă nu mă înșel mai clar!) decât vreodată în trecut. Lala m-a încurajat și m-a lăudat căci am fost capabil s-o urmez nu doar în ce zisese, ci și cu privire la ritmul conversației.
Cu toate acestea în minte îmi amintesc ședința cu doua zile înainte în care aproape toate lucrurile pe care voiam să-le spun erau dificile de exprimat clar. Lala mi-a făcut un comentariu tare deștept astăzi, știind că uneori fiecare student se va confrunta cu niște dificultăți să îi exprime gândurile. Datorită acestui comentariu nu am pierdut speranța să continui să progresez. 😭

Totul a fost super, foarte minunat ca de obicei. Întrebările pe care Bianca le pune în conversație sunt mereu interesante pentru mine, și acestea îmi permit să dezvolt o conversație pe un subiect anumit cu succes. Mă simt întotdeauna confortabil cu ea!
