I blend psychology, acting techniques, and 12+ years of teaching to make lessons engaging and effective. 🧠🎭 As a former researcher, university teaching assistant, psychologist and acting student, I specialize in helping learners overcome mental blocks and speak with confidence. Whether you're looking to boost your conversational skills, dive into specific grammar points, or refine your communication for real-world use, I’ll adapt each session to make sure it’s both effective and engaging.

Each lesson is tailored to your goals and learning pace. We begin by assessing your level, language background, and preferred learning methods to create a clear, effective roadmap. I use Italki Plus or a shared Google Doc to track our progress, grammar points, vocabulary, and exercises. With a mix of structured materials and proven resources, lessons stay flexible and focused on what matters most to you – whether it’s conversation, grammar, or business communication. To keep lessons relevant and engaging, I include real-life content like articles, cultural topics, and books. Sessions are structured, yet always adaptable to your needs. 🔄

I have an intermediate level in Italian and I am interested in improving my “conversational skills”. For me a good teacher is a teacher who can have a good conversation on a subject of interest (to me obviously). Well… that is the case with Martina. She is a Master’s student in Psychology, who speaks 4 languages (German, Italian natively, English, Portuguese, really well). We spoke for an hour about diverse subjects. She is engaging, smart, funny. I’m almost tempted to learn some German with her…. (Just kidding. Perhaps in a few years). Grazie mille Martina.
