Hello everyone!
My name is Ashley. I am a native British English speaker, born and raised in England.
I have worked in the taxi industry for over 20 years, so I am very used to speaking with people all day long, and also speaking with people from all over the world.
I enjoy photography, gardening and studying Mandarin Chinese and Korean.
Although I have only been teaching for a few years, I already have a passion for helping people with their English language journey.

I have been teaching English for 3 years. I became interested in teaching from my own studying of Chinese. I understand the need for practising speaking early on in a language journey, even though it seemed to be the most challenging aspect for me.
For this reason, I encourage my students to do lots of talking in a relaxed and pressure-free environment. I am very patient and aware of the worry about making mistakes. This is where I can help you the most. Making mistakes and learning from them, I believe, is the fastest way to improve your speaking skills. 我的課程內容與教學風格
I am a very relaxed person, and like to make my students feel comfortable. My lessons are mainly having conversations together, which are more like a chat with a friend. You can choose things to discuss which interest you, or I can list different topics for you to choose from.
For example, if you are moving to an English speaking country (or are already in one), we can roleplay day-to-day situations.
I will help you with pronunciation and sentence structures, and offer more colloquial alternatives that are in everyday use.
