Hi everyone, I’m Chiaki. I live in Fukuoka, Japan.
I love talking with people from around the world🌏
The beach🏝️, cooking, traveling, drawing, and watching movies always make me happy✨
ZUMBA is my passion. It gives me energy and joy!
I really enjoy meeting people from all over the world on italki.

Many of my students have been enjoying lessons with me for years, and I’m glad to see how those who once started as complete beginners can now enjoy conversations in Japanese!
I also feel so happy when my students enjoy using the words and phrases they learned in my lessons while traveling in Japan.
I focus on communication and provide gentle, encouraging corrections.
I've taught students of all levels.

I have studied Japanese with Chiaki-san for around 3 years now and it has always been very fun. The lessons have greatly improved my communication skills. Chiaki-san will always help when you do not understand a word or a sentence and it is very easy to talk to her. Very much recommended. Thanks for the lessons!

I have been with Chiaki for 3 years now! Chiaki is a great teacher who helps me a lot with my Japanese! She is very knowledgeable in teaching others and has many methods of teaching, from speaking to reading and so on. And she is so fun to learn from! I enjoy every listen with Chiaki and I hope to learn with her for a long time!

I appreciate how Chiaki sensei can be so approachable, she's a teacher you can talk to about anything, which is very helpful because you learn about many things that are generally not in textbooks.
