Hi, I’m Sievert. I currently live in Berlin but I’m originally from Schleswig-Holstein, the northernmost state of Germany. Therefore my natural accent probably has a slight northern twang to it, though not extremely so (and the sounds of Standard German are based on a northern-ish accent anyway).
Besides languages I’m interested in cooking, software development and IT. I have also recently started reading more fictional literature (though I still have a lot of catching up to do even when it comes to the Western literary “canon”).我的教學經歷
I have studied some dozen or so languages to varying degrees, so I’m quite experienced with various methods of learning. I have also taught classes in university before, both language and otherwise. 我的課程內容與教學風格
For the moment I offer conversation classes for levels A2 and above, but if you have questions on vocabulary and grammar I will be happy to help with those as well. I am the type of person who enjoys looking for patterns in the grammar and little nuance differences. So if that’s your thing as well, I’ll be happy to help you in your exploration!
I prefer to do my classes entirely in German wherever possible and only resort to a separate teaching language briefly if necessary. This helps keep your brain in “German mode”. If you prefer that fallback teaching language to be Chinese rather than English, that can be arranged as well.4.9
