I completed a 420-hour Japanese teacher training program in 2014, and since then I have taught at language schools in Mexico and Japan, as well as online. As someone who used to be a “Spanish-language nerd,” I understand the joy of learning a language for fun. Studying English grammar has also helped me understand the challenges of Japanese more deeply, and this experience shapes the way I support my students.
I offer four structured courses based on your grammar level: Zero Beginner, Beginner, Pre Intermediate, and Intermediate. In each course, you can learn grammar systematically while having conversations with me in Japanese. I also offer conversation practice lessons for learners of any level.

My lessons are mainly conducted using the direct method (Japanese only), but for beginner levels I also use original materials with illustrations to support understanding. For Spanish-speaking beginners, I can provide support in Spanish as well.

I really like my lessons with Oyeko Sensei. It's really easy to have a conversation with her, and when she is explaining new grammar or vocabulary, she explains with easy examples and relatable situations. She is also very patient.
