Hi! I am an active person! I enjoy studying languages. I have formally studied Italian, Mandarin, Turkish, Spanish, Nepali, and Polish. The language-learning experience enables me to understand the journey of language learners. (I am struggling to learn Polish, and am studying Mandarin too.) In addition, I stay physically active. I enjoy skiing in the winter and bicycling in the summer. I often travel and speak the local language where I visit. I am also a musician. I studied music at the university and still play the flute. (I used to play bass guitar in a band too!) I also love to dance Argentine tango. I have traveled throughout Asia, Europe, and northern Africa too!我的教學經歷
I am a certified TEFL teacher. I have taught primary, middle, and secondary students and adults. I believe all students can learn a new language. It can be difficult, I know! I will assess your reading, writing, speaking, and listening levels. I will understand your goals. Then, I can plan and offer meaningful lessons to help the student reach those goals based on the student's level. And, I maintain a written record of student work on the Italki platform. I use active learning strategies based on teaching Foreign Language Learner (TEFL) theory to create engaging and interactive lessons that improve students' reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
I use many different materials, including but not limited to fiction, non-fiction, articles, podcasts, worksheets, art, and music. Of course, I also use games in teaching! I provide vocabulary lists for reading and listening exercises. I provide links to podcasts that align with your level and goals.
I promise to listen to you and your interests. Coupled with my expertise in teaching, I am sure that you will improve your speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills!我的教材

Emi is the best teacher that i have had. she is empatic and study english with her is easy and funny. The time goes fast and you learn without any stress. She focus in a specific topic and let us talk but in the end she correct each mistake with text and pronunciation.
i think if i would have Emmi with me for about one week i will become a perfect english speaker.

Learning with Emmi is really enjoyable! She’s super patient and active. The lesson was well prepared and targeted to the specific area that I would like to improve (business English in my case). The presentation practice we did is absolutely enlightening for me. Definitely would like to continue learning with her!
