Hello, my name is Jacob. I'm a native English speaker from Arizona, USA. I'm a Masters student at the Universidad de Alcalá and live in Madrid. I recently graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in English, French and Creative Writing. I currently live in Spain with my wife. I like playing electric guitar, and drinking good coffee! I'm a big fan of English and American poetry, especially the work of Emily Dickinson, Gerard Hopkins and Shakespeare.我的教學經歷

I want to tailor our time together to solidify and meet your goals as an English learner. I also hope to share some of my favorite aspects of my culture and where I grew up while I learn more about you as well! I prefer conversational, inductive lessons to more formal instruction. This is because I find it most helpful to engage with a language through its art: stories, poems and music. These represent the ways native English speakers really build relationships and flourish in their own cultures, which is invaluable whether you are learning English for a job, for schooling, or just for fun!我的教材
