Hi! I'm Alice, As a Chinese teacher with 7 years of experience and over 7,000 hours of teaching, I'm skilled at helping you master grammar and vocabulary in a fun and engaging way! My students range from beginners to advanced levels, covering all over the world (such as the United States, Japan, Europe, etc.
Outside the classroom, I love movies, animations, and history, these often become lively materials for my lessons! Whether you're preparing for the HSK, learning business Chinese, or want to chat about Chinese myths and traditional culture, I can help you speak more like a native.

During my teaching periods at language schools in Kunming and Shanghai, I discovered that learning Chinese is not just about memorization, but also about exploration！

When we finish class, we will practice at the end to help you remember what we have learned. After the class, I will update the materials so you can review them before our next lesson.
For the next class, we will use the first 15 minutes to review all the vocabulary and sentences we learned last time. Then, we will continue learning the new chapter.

2.My teaching styles are quite flexible.
for beginner and elementary students,my lesson will be fun, I will use lots of methods let you to say、to talk. you will see a clear progress in each class.
for intermediate and advanced students，I will make your Mandarin more authentic，we can talk the hottest topic, Chinese myth、history（my major is history)、Chinese tradition......
We will focus on your listening、pronunciation、reading、oral speaking、grammar.

Alice is one of the best teacher I ever had. I have changed language teachers with other language in italki. But I never changed in Mandarin. Fortunately, I found Alice 1st when learning Mandarin.
She really care about my Mandarin learning. As requested by me, she corrects my tones. She helps me with my HSK preparation, make sure I can say out the sentences aloud, send me Quizlets to review what we studied & encourages me to speak in Mandarin.
I have seen great improvements is my Mandarin especially. I just passed my HSK 3 just 2 months ago.

Been a student of Alice since 2018 when i first met her when i went to China to study at a language school for 6 weeks. During that time my learning was supercharged. I have been a student of hers online now for almost 5 years. She still brings that skill and preparedness to online lessons. My understanding of the Chinese language I credit almost entirely to her. An excellent teacher who I still look forward to having weekly lessons with even after all these years.

Today we talked about buying habits and different products such as clothing. I really enjoyed the lesson. Alice also recommended 小红书 （rednote）a Chinese social media platform where I can watch authentic Chinese videos! This has helped me immensely with my Chinese. 非常感谢您！

Today we did some revision on a chapter of the HSK4 book that we have finished. I love the way Alice does the revision, through questions I have to answer using the new words! She is also always willing to tell me about Chinese culture, which I am so passionate about!
