I am Teacher Janet "Teacher JHA," a licensed educator from the Philippines with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in English. With over a decade of experience as a public school teacher in my hometown, I specialize in engaging with energetic and enthusiastic teenage learners, fostering trust and meaningful connections throughout their educational journey. Teaching is the toughest and the most challenging profession that I have known since you are dealing with learners with different behaviors, upbringings, and interests. So, I always see to it that I give my best and try to reach them out.
As a teacher, I am dedicated, preserve, and patient since teaching is my passion. I often simplified the lessons of my learners since each one of them is unique. Therefore, it is very important to know their strengths and weaknesses for fruitful and meaningful learning.
I also encourage my learners to voice out and share their ideas, and thoughts in order to be heard and develop their confidence and self-esteem since it is two way of learning process. 我的課程內容與教學風格
As I plan my lessons ahead of time, I anticipate that my learners will enjoy, appreciate, and have a great time performing every task assigned. I give varied teaching activities based on their level of understanding like film viewing, PowerPoint presentations, reading out loud, free talk, and others.
I also ensure that my learners will learn a lot during our session and apply what they will adapt in real-life situations while having a great time learning.
Indeed, lessons provided to the learners are on spiral progression that they can easily understand the topics well. There are lots of things to consider in learning. It needs to plan carefully and engage themselves throughout the lesson.我的教材

Great lesson with Janet! We reviewed and corrected the sentences that I translated using "may". After that, Janet explained how to use "mayroon" . She created several example sentences to show how to do it. I got a little mixed up about when to use the future form of the verb and when to use the infinitive form. Janet gave a helpful explanation. Seeing the examples Janet makes really works for understanding!

Great lesson with Janet! We reviewed the sentences that I translated using "mayroon". Janet gave me more difficult sentences to translate. But, during the lesson we learned important things like the order of one-syllable words, when to use "din" vs. "rin", and when to use the infinitive and when to use the future tense. Janet always stops and slows down when I get confused. Janet went above and beyond to make sure that I understood, which was much appreciated!

Great lesson with Janet! We reviewed the sentences I translated using "may". Janet had some minor corrections to fix them. After that, we also learned about using "may + verb" and made several example sentences. I am able to more easily build and translate sentences, thanks to taking lessons with Janet!
