Hello everyone. I'm Toru. I was born and raised in Kyoto, Japan. I live in the Philippines now. I'm a Japanese teacher at several universities and a company in the Philippines. I like to travel and I've been to several countries. The places are Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Guam, Korea, Thailand, Cambodia, Turkey, China etc. I also like music, especially J-pop and K-pop, movies, anime, manga, etc. I am very fond of Japanese anime and manga, so I am sure we can have a conversation about them as well.

I'm a professional Japanese teacher and a native Japanese speaker. I completed all the requirements of the Japanese Language Teacher Training Course (420 hours). I teach Japanese from 1st year to 4th year university students. I also teach Japanese to employees of a company. So I can teach Japanese at a variety of levels from beginner to advanced.
I know that it's difficult to learn a foreign language, but I will be your teacher, so you can ask me everything about Japanese and also Japanese culture.
I am also learning English and Filipino, so I can understand your feelings about learning another language.
Since I lived in Kyoto and Osaka, Japan, I can also teach the Kansai dialect. 我的課程內容與教學風格

Toru-sensei is really patient, and I always enjoy chatting with him. I learn something new every time we talk, and he gently corrects me when I make mistakes. He explains things in a way that’s easy to understand, which makes conversations comfortable and encouraging.
