My name is Danica, and I am 28 years old. I was born in Serbia, where I currently reside. My passions are languages, and I graduated in Italian language and literature from the Faculty of Languages in my hometown. Additionally, during my studies, I had the opportunity to spend a year in Rome, which significantly improved my communication skills. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life and contributed to my growth in every aspect, particularly enhancing my language skills. I am a very sociable person, open-minded, creative, spontaneous, and always eager to make new friendships. I am inspired by meeting new people and visiting new places. During my studies, I had the opportunity to teach English and Italian to students. I am very patient and always open to appreciating the opinions of my students, aiming to help and teach them in an interesting way. I don't like strictly adhering to a predetermined curriculum, as it can be boring. Instead, I always try to tailor my classes to the specific needs of my students. For example, if they want to improve their conversation skills, our focus would be on that, etc.
This year, I passed an international English exam - FCE, so I am continually improving my language skills and endeavor to share my knowledge with my students.我的課程內容與教學風格
My lessons are always diverse. I consistently incorporate audio files and prioritize allowing students to speak more than me. Each new lesson differs from the previous one. Initially, I like to assess the student's language level and preferences to tailor my lessons accordingly. It's crucial for me to review all important points covered in the previous lesson. In my view, the importance of repetition cannot be overstated. At the conclusion of each lesson, I inquire if the student requires further clarification on any topic and assign homework because it's vital for them to work and think independently. Prove of spent time in Florence - Elite Academy - 2018I spent a month in Florence attending training to become an HR manager. During this time, I improved my Italian language skills and got to know parts of Italy that I hadn't previously been familiar with. Additionally, I enhanced my knowledge of business language.
Translation project - Smederevo steel mill - 2017Contract for services on the project that lasted for a month at the Smederevo steel mill. This project helped me greatly to improve my translation skills, both in simultaneous and consecutive translation. I translated with a friend from Italian to Serbian and vice versa.

Teacher of Italian and EnglishI was teaching English and Italian on the Russian web platform Skyeng. It was a really great experience because most of the students were beginners, and there were a lot of Italian students who wanted to learn English. For me, it was one of my first experiences in teaching, and it was so valuable and stimulating.

Teacher of English languageI worked at Native Camp, teaching English to Chinese students. I really enjoyed this job because it was one of my first experiences teaching, and that's when I realized I actually love this job.

My time in Rome and attending classes there greatly improved my language and communication skills and contributed to my understanding of the dialect and slang in the country. Danica is a really suppletive tutor, she recently started at Italki but during our lesson she showed me how experienced she is. Her perfect Italian, Serbian and English are very helpful when communicating and explaining things I didn’t understand.
